Tollywood | Another tragedy happened in Tollywood. Moida Ananda Rao (57), who directed a wonderful film like Mithunam, passed away. Suffering from diabetes, he was being treated at a private hospital in Vizag for some time and his condition deteriorated and he breathed his last on Wednesday morning.
Ananda Rao, a native of Vavilavalasa village, Regidi mandal, Vizianagaram district, started his life as a small-time worker in a private company. After that he established himself as a businessman. He also has a good reputation as a community worker. That is why he spent Rs. 25 lakhs and established a library in his hometown. Ananda Rao is also passionate about literature. He used to write eco-friendly poems and publish them under the name Kotigadu. As far as films are concerned, Mithunam was produced in 2012. SP Balasubrahmanyam and Lakshmi played key roles in this movie. Tanikella Bharani is the director of this film. This film, which runs with only two characters, has impressed the critics. In 2017, Mithunam also won the Nandi Award. As for Ananda Rao, he has two daughters and a son with his wife Padmini.
