While Subaskaran is producing under the Lyca Productions banner, Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. In this film, Kollywood Bama Dushara Vijayan is playing a pivotal role. The makers have recently given the news about another actress who will act in this movie. Ritika Singh of Guru fame, who played Venkatesh in the title role, is playing the one of the few male lead role in this film. The latest update released by the Lyca Productions team welcoming Ritika Singh to the team is going viral. Thalaiva 170 will hit theaters in 2024. While there are reports that Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Malayalam star hero Fahadh Faasil and Kollywood beauty Manjuwarrior are going to act in key roles in this film, an official announcement is yet to be made.

Gnanvel, who brilliantly invented a social message like Jaibheem, and Superstar Rajinikanth is going to be shown in a role on the silver screen. Thalaiwa is also acting in Lal Salaam directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. This movie will be released as Pongal 2024. Rajinikanth on the other hand has also given the green signal to Thalaivar 171. Star director Lokesh Kanagaraj (lokesh-kanagaraj) is going to direct this movie.
