After a short break, he presented the love story “Sita Ramam” to the audience. Being a movie produced by the top production company Vyjayanthi Movies, Dulquer Salmaan, who has an unshakeable image in the South as a romantic hero, as the lead actor, has increased the interest of the audience right from the production of this movie. The songs and trailer created more interest. Let’s see how much “Sitaharam” released with positive buzz has pleased the audience.

About the story..

Lt. Ram is an orphan. He works as a soldier in Kashmir. He performs his duties with loyalty to the country and respect for humanity. He shows his patriotism by defeating the plots of Pakistani terrorists. As an orphan, he receives letters in the name of Sitamahalakshmi. If you don’t reply back, those letters will not have an address. In this background, Ram searches for Sita and catches Lakshmi. Their acquaintance in Hyderabad gradually turns into love.

At the moment when they want to get married, they both face unexpected circumstances. The two separate. Ram leaves Kashmir. Later, Ram enters Pakistani territory for a military operation. What happened after that? Why does Afrin (Rashmika Mandanna) have to take on the responsibility of delivering Ram’s letter for Sita? What is in that letter that reached Sita after twenty years? The rest of the story revolves around the answers to these questions.

How is it..

The tagline of this movie is a love story written with war. Justifying it, director Hanu Raghavapudi has made this film as a beautiful love story by mixing the elements of love, war and patriotism in the right amount. Opening the story against the backdrop of Indian soldiers exposing the misdeeds of Pakistani terrorists is thrilling. He directed the battle scenes revealing the personality of the soldier Ram. When Ram starts receiving letters from Sita and Lakshmi, that’s where the love story begins.

Ram’s arrival in Hyderabad in search of Sita Mahalakshmi, and their introduction there has a nice poetic feel. Those scenes were created as Chanda writing a beautiful poem on the screen. The conflict in the story starts when Sita is in a dilemma about marriage and Ram goes back to Kashmir. Keeping Ram from knowing Sita’s background adds to the suspense.

The director interestingly tells the story from the perspective of Afrin’s search for Sita, who holds the answer, and the people she meets. Interval has added more interest to the story with a bang. This story takes place from 1965 to 1985. The spatio-temporal conditions of the day were discovered as they were. One gets the feeling that the audience of that time has been taken away. In the second half, the story progresses emotionally.

The way love, war and exploration are interwoven in this story is heartwarming. Director Hanu Raghavapudi interestingly twists this love story with many twists. Flags move the heart. The story ended with an emotional climax that brought tears to the eyes of the audience. After a long time, the audience will feel that they have seen a heart-warming love story.

Performance of actors..

Dulquer Salmaan lives the role of Lt. Ram. His performance as a patriotic soldier and as Ram who loves Sita dearly is impressive in different aspects. Along with the heartwarming story, Dulquer’s acting is the main strength of this movie. Mrinal Thakur looked beautiful. She expressed beauty with her eyes. Sita has done well in the role. It can be said as a perfect debut for her in Telugu. And Rashmika Mandanna’s acting as a bridge between the lovers is good. Sumanth as an army officer Vishnu Sharma is impressive in a pivotal role in Kathagamanam.

Rest of the actors have done justice to their roles. Technically, the film seems superior in every department. The cinematography captures the beauty of Kashmir wonderfully. Some of the dialogues are good because of the poetic feeling. Vishalchandrasekhar’s songs are melodious. Background music is good. In terms of production, Vaijayanthi movies are seen in every frame.

Verdict:

In recent times, the number of heart-touching love stories has decreased. The film fills that gap. One will be left with the feeling of having seen a beautiful, eye-popping love story on the silver screen.

Rating: 3.25/5
