Kannada actor Rishabh Shetty’s Kantara movie directed by Svia is known to have received huge success. It was released in Kannada as a short film without any expectations and became a super hit. As a result, the movie was dubbed and released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages and received an excellent response. With this Rishabh Shetty craze has increased to pan India levels. This movie which has created records in terms of collections at the box office has recently received a rare honour. The film will be screened at the United Nations office in Geneva (Switzerland) on March 17. To this extent, hero Rishabh Shetty has already reached Switzerland. He will give a speech after the screening of the film there. He will talk about the role of Indian cinema in environmental protection. Rishabh Shetty took to social media platforms to express his happiness about the film’s international release.
The film will be screened on March 17 at the United Nations in Geneva in hall number 13 of the Pathé Balexert Theatre. Rishabh Shetty said on this occasion.. “Many Indian films have raised awareness about environmental protection. In my latest movie Kantara, we mentioned that topic as well. This film shows our connection with nature. Films like this inspire us to take up environmental challenges and solve the related problems,” he said.
The action thriller Kantara revolves around Bhoota Kola, a traditional tribal dance. It featured Kishore, Achyut Kumar, Saptami Gowda and Pramod Shetty in pivotal roles. Rs. Produced by Hombale Film with a budget of 16 crores, this film has collected around Rs. 400 crores earned. Kantara has now created a record as the first Kannada film to be screened in the United States.
