Star heroine damaged by Rajinikanth..? When the blockbuster movie Narasimha came out, he talked about it in Kollywood as well as in our Tollywood. The reason for this is that Rajinikanth did not get the character that Soundarya, who is already extremely popular in the south as a star heroine, should get. Narasimha is one of the milestone films of Rajinikanth’s career.
Released in Tamil as Padayappa in 1999, it became a sensational success in Kollywood. This movie was dubbed and released in Telugu as Narasimha. A straight film got the appreciation it deserves. Rajinikanth himself thought of the story of this film, which was a huge success in Tamil and Telugu languages. Based on Ponniyan Selvan’s novel written by Kalki Krishnamurthy, Rajinikanth wanted to make this film with the title Hara.
However, he told this story to director KS Ravikumar, who had already made a hit film with him called Muthu. Both believed in this story and added some changes and even the name was registered as Padayappa instead of Hara as Rajini thought. Rajinikanth announced the movie with the same name. Ponniyan Selvan took a part of the story and developed it with commercial flair and designed amazing characters.
However, before Soundarya and Ramyakrishna, who acted as heroines opposite Rajinikanth, thought otherwise. Neelambari made by Ramya Krishna actually wanted to be done with Soundarya. But, due to her popularity as a family heroine, Rajini changed it because if she did that role, it would have a negative impact on the audience.
Due to this, Neelambari Ramya, who had to beautify the negative role, got an extraordinary craze. Still talking about that role. Whether or not Soundarya really got that range craze, but at that time, they talked negatively about Rajini in this regard.
