Mumbai: A huge fire has occurred in the Film City of Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. The incident took place in the major film city of Goregaon. A fire broke out on the set of Hindi TV serial ‘Gum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein’ at 4.30 pm on Friday. The fire was initially confined to the ground floor and later spread to other sets in Film City. A level 3 alert has been issued. Thick smoke could be seen for a long distance. The staff at Film City panicked. They ran out of there.
Meanwhile, immediately after receiving the information, the firemen reached Film City. 12 fire engines, seven water jetties, one water tanker, three automatic turntables (AWTT), one quick response vehicle and other fire fighting vehicles tried to control the fire. Officials said that no one has been injured so far. On the other hand, video clips related to the fire incident at Mumbai Film City have gone viral on social media.
