‘Two novels written by me were published before entering the movies. My journey as a lyricist started with the film ‘Basanti’, says Srikanth Vissa. Srikanth Vissa has penned the story and lyrics for ‘Ravanasura’ directed by Sudhir Varma starring Ravi Teja as the protagonist. The film will release on April 7. In the meeting arranged on Friday, Srikanth Vissa said, ‘Working with Ravi Teja will be very comfortable.
We both have similar interests. That is why I am doing more films with him. ‘Ravanasura’ is a thriller. Ravi Teja’s character has as many facets as there are in the character of the mythological Ravanasura. Along with entertainment, we have touched a different point. The main concept of this movie is that every hero has a villain. One day while talking to Ravi Teja, Talu came up with the idea of this movie. Ravi Teja took this movie to another level with his own body language and dialogues. The idea is to direct. That is the ultimate goal of every writer. But being busy as a writer takes more time for directing. Currently, Kalyan Ram’s ‘Devil’, for which I am working as a writer, is ready for release. I wrote words to ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’. He said that he is working for ‘Pushpa-2’.
