Chiranjeevi | Hyderabad, March 14 (Namaste Telangana): The High Court has directed cinehero Konidela Chiranjeevi to maintain status quo in the disputed 595 square yard plot in Jubilee Hills Society. She said that construction should not be done at that place. Jubilee Hills Cooperative Housing Society handed over the land to GHMC for public services.
Justice CV Bhasar Reddy on Tuesday heard the petition filed by three people including K Srikanth Babu against the allotment of the same 595 square yards to Chiranjeevi. The counsel for the petitioners requested to bring and examine the records of approval of the society’s managing committee and annual general meeting regarding the sale of 595 square yards. He said that GHMC has not taken over the land designated for public purposes. He said that the same place was sold to Chiranjeevi. After the arguments, the High Court issued a status quo order and adjourned the next hearing to April 25.
