In the workload management issued by Cricket Australia regarding its players, it is clearly recorded for Green that he will not bowl for Mumbai Indians till 13 April. It has also been told in the TOI report that BCCI had already told all the franchisees about the guidelines of Cricket Australia.

According to the report, BCCI CEO and IPL COO Hemang Amin had informed all the 10 franchises in writing about this. It was clearly written in it that, “Cricket Australia has informed us that Cameron Green will be available throughout the tournament. If he plays all the matches of the 4 test series against India, then he will not bowl for 4 weeks. These 4 weeks will be added from the day on which the last match of the Border-Gavaskar series will be played.
