To prevent the spread of this viral disease, the utensils, clothes of the infected should be cleaned and other items used everyday. No one should come in contact with the infected. Because this disease can also spread from one child to another or any other person.

Parents should not send children to school until the rash has completely healed and the fever has subsided for at least 24 hours.
