Allu Arjun was first approached for this role but due to the busy schedule of the film ‘Pushpa 2’, he could not join the film Jawan. After Allu Arjun refused, the makers went to Sanjay Dutt and he agreed to the role. This is not the first time when Sanjay Dutt’s special appearance riots in Shah Rukh Khan’s film.
