new Delhi. The Indian smartwatch market is growing very fast. A report by research firm, Counterpoint, in November claimed that India will have the highest number of smartwatch users in 2022 and it is likely to grow next year. Till a few years ago, the cost of most smartwatches was more than Rs 10,000. In such a situation, users had to work only with affordable smart bands or fitness trackers. In the last few years, brands like Noise and Fire-Bolt have given competition to brands like Xiaomi and OnePlus in the market. In such a situation, new companies and existing companies have brought their new smartwatches under Rs 5,000. The market is full of smartwatches priced below Rs 5,000. These can easily compete with high-end watches such as Apple Watch or Galaxy Watch series. Most smartwatches in this segment provide inaccurate health data. Most budget smartwatches can’t automatically detect workout mode and users don’t get accurate data on health metrics like we get with Apple Watches, Fitbits and Garmin smartwatches. If you are planning to buy a new smartwatch, then there are many options available.
