Story and Direction
Nagesh Kuknoor has directed City of Dreams, so this famous director has also written this series along with Rohit Banawalikar. After watching season 1 and 2, fans had high hopes from season 3 of this series. But this story failed to live up to the expectations. Despite sitting on a wheelchair, it would not have been digestible for the head of the Maharashtra Janshakti Party, who yearned to take revenge on his daughter after the death of his son, from a lion to a cat.
The revenge of Jagya alias Jagdish and his hard work to break the party did not show much success. This story is starting to look predictable. The father-daughter conflict going on in the City of Dreams was the high point of this story, which is not visible at all in many episodes of this series. For this reason, this series starts boring.
The attempt made in this series to show the alliance of politics and media could have been presented in a more effective way but it has not happened.
acting
Priya Bapat once again wins hearts by presenting her unmatched acting while showing mother’s pain, Chief Minister’s dutifulness with the character of Poornima. Atul Kulkarni and Sachin Pilgaonkar have tried their best to save this series with their acting. Ejaz Khan in the character of Wasim gives justice to his character. Rannvijay Singha’s character could have been more impressive but the writer has not written anything special for him.
see why
This story can be seen for the acting of the artists. If you like watching political drama then this series is for you. In this series, the effort made to show Maharashtra politics in an interesting way, you can definitely watch this series for that effort.
what are the drawbacks
There is nothing new in the Maharashtra politics that has been tried to be shown in this series. Now many more new twists and turns are seen in politics in real life, we will get more interesting stories from this series in real politics. This story drags in many places. The series cannot be called bad but due to season 1 and 2, it is disappointing to see season 3.
