Actually, Hrithik Roshan’s maternal grandmother Padma Rani (Padma Rani) Has died at the age of 91. His maternal grandmother is the famous director late J Omprakash. (J Omprakash) was his wife. She was on the bed for a long time. Hrithik Roshan’s maternal grandmother breathed her last in her sleep at around 3 pm on 16 June. The last rites of Padma Rani will be performed on June 17 at around 10.30 am at the Vile Parle crematorium in Mumbai.

Producer and director J Omprakash, who gave many hits to Hindi cinema, also died just three years ago i.e. in the year 2019. After his death, it was Hrithik Roshan who gave him the fire. Let us tell you that J Omprakash is known for his films like the 1974 film Aap Ki Kasam, the 1977 film Apnapan and the 1983 film Man Toy Hai.

J Omprakash had directed Rahul Roy’s film ‘Afsana Dillon Ka’ as a director, which was the last film of his life. After that he did not direct any film. Apart from Rajesh Khanna, Mumtaz, Sanjeev Kumar, Jeetendra, Reena Roy, Zeenat Aman, Rajinikanth, Rakesh Roshan, Sridevi, Danny Denzongpa, Govinda and Meenakshi Seshadri, he directed many of the best Bollywood stars.

J Omprakash was also the President of IMPAA

In Mumbai, he was also the President of the Indian Motion Pictures Association (IMPAA) and the Film Producers Guild. In the year 1995-96, he was also elected the President of the Film Federation of India. He also served as a lecturer at the Pune Film Institute. In 2004, he was also given the Lifetime Achievement Award through the Asian Guild of London.
